i need a really cheap laptop for wow.

To play wow (unlike most other games), the most important thing in this order:
1- processor
2-RAM
3-video card

just keep in mind what I told you above. Almost all video cards can run wow. The processors are typically good for wow in new computer. RAM is important. It is best to have at least 2 GB RAM.
Oh and dell lets you get the laptop with xp on it not vista that might slow down cheaper laptops.
Dude going cheap means you will only be able to handle medium settings graphics wise. Look for a Laptop with a Nvidia or ATI card, integrated graphics have horrible shaders. Are you willing to accept these consequences to going cheap??
I got my Toshiba Satellite for less than a thousand and the price has certainly dropped by quite a bit since then. It runs WoW with ease and I have no problems running it for high graphics. Just make sure you get one with a decent video card and at least 1 gig of RAM. Mine has 2 gig and it was still really cheap. So I recommend the Toshiba. Good luck and see ya on WoW!
