I need a laptop which I will be using for school, internet, and Skype. I don’t play games or anything, so I don’t need a really expensive computer. I’m thinking about buying a really cheap Toshiba, but am concerned about making sure that Skype will work well on it. Are some laptops too slow for Skype? Anyone have any problems with this? Thanks!

purposes. Need white/yellow pages access, with reverse lookup, map quest, shopping. Sometimes I don’t know the exact address. So, what cheap laptop could I hook- up into the cigarette lighter. Do I need to keep it hooked up all the time? I guess I need to have it wireless. What do I do or buy to make this laptop work, to get the internet?

We have several missionaries in Eastern Europe who need 3 internet compatible computer desktops or laptops, old or new, as long as it is in working condition. Could anyone let me know where I can find computers to give? Or if any of you have computers that you don’t use, would you please donate? You can file it in your taxes for tax-exemption.

Forget the budget, what are some good laptops for school that requires work including essays, paper work basically and lots of art/design stuff. I heard the Macbook is good, but don’t know which one. Is it the macbook pro, air or original macbook? And some other ones that are good for school too please?
Thanks in advance.

I’m looking for a laptop that works well with an AutoCAD program, & maybe a few other programs. It’s for school. Hopefully it isn’t too expensive [with the student discount or not] & hopefully a recently new one. I’m thinking about Mac right now because I hear they don’t get viruses like others but I’m not sure.
Let me know what kind of laptops are good & the prices of them & where to find such.
Please & thank you.

I’m going to buy a laptop for college. But I have no idea how the internet works on laptops. Can someone explain to me what I need to use the internet on leptops. I’m either going to buy a mac, a dell, or hp.
Does the internet work the same for all three or is it different?
Thanks

Probably a dumb question to alot of people, sorry!
Thinking of getting a laptop, how do wireless laptops work? Do you have to plug something in, can it be used so that more than one laptop can be connected to the internet at any one time? And can you just move round the house freely with the laptop?
