This thing popped up saying there was a virus on my computer saying I needed to delete it. I think it’s a fake and it keeps popping up new windows saying there’s viruses. Now when I turned on the computer there was somehow another virus protector. This one pops up more often. I need help.. D: I can’t play games cause whenever I’m playing games and the thing pops up it stops my game.

this fake virus protector called Security Tool has somehow blocked my desktop and prevented me from using any antiviruse programs and every 5 sec or so gives a pop up message asking me to buy it. How do i remove it? Please help!!! thanks

Removal Info – www.malwarehelp.org – On restart Virus Protector completely hijacks the desktop by substituting itself for the Windows Shell. This effectively disables the desktop by hiding the icons and taskbar. Further right-click is disabled and Keyboard shortcuts to open system tasks like Windows Explorer, Task Manager and Run command were also blocked and so was the Registry Editor.

I thought I was downloading a picture from the net when in fact it was Virus Protector. Needless to say my computer is now infected. Please advise how best to remove Virus Protector and protect my computer from future similar attacks.

Virus Protector somehow got on my laptop and I cannot remove it. I’m on Windows XP SP2.

I accidentally dowloaded a virus protection but i already have one and i think the new one i dowloaded is a virus it’s self because my other one is not detecting anything when the other one is does any one know a way to remove the new virus protector.
