Whenever the "fake warning" comes up AVG tells me it is a threat and moves it to the vault, but that doesn’t fix the problem. It comes up again and I have to put it in the vault once more. Now I am getting pop-ups and the fake alert still comes up. I ran a full scan, and it didn’t find anything. How can I remove it permanently without reformatting my computer.

It also gives me pop ups of viagra and I can not open the internet, msconfig (file currupt), and I can not open System Restore.

I have tried a Norton 360 virus scan & restoring my files. But it won’t go away, I keep on recieving annoying pop-ups from advertisements.
And theres a program in the end near where the time is displayed around the computer, Called Click Potato, & it’s a virus. My computer is slowing down & junk. How do I remove the virus for free.

somehow i got virus on my flashdrive. I found out about it becuase I inserted it in my frined’s comptuer and as soon as i inserted it, couple of pop-ups came up and then her computer got virus. so how do i remove virus from the flashdrive, without infecting my comptuer?
