My friend has a computer infected with a Trojan virus of some sort that wont allow him to connect to online or open any of his computer programs gives him prompt messages "program can not be executed due to file being infected etc. etc." how can we remove this virus without requiring to pay a professional?
Trojan maybe be a Trojan Dropper or something similar.
The Trojan Wont allow ANY programs to run, INCLUDING ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE.

I use Norton, and they’ve detected a trojan virus that need manually removed. I have gone to the Symantec website but the directions for disabling and enabling system restore aren’t for vista so I can’t follow them. How do i go about this?
I have spybot and ad-aware as well, but only Norton detected this trojan virus!

I have a pc and my anti-virus software(Avast trial version) detected a trojan virus, and now that infected file is in the "chest/vault". Now what do i do to get rid of it?
What other softwares can/should I get for free to protect my computer?

I have just recently started getting a million pop ups and I ran windows live one care that located a "gadcom" file…related to trojan virus. OC has located and supposedly removed the same files several times. This virus is making babies!!! What is a good program to remove this and make it stop coming back?

I have a trojan virus ony computer, and I keep having to use AVG virus scanner tofins it. Once I find it, I go to the file and delete it. It keeps attacking iTunes, so when I deleted the files, I reinstalled iTunes, and I got warnings that said the virus was Back! This means whatever is attacking my computer is still on here. What should I do? How do I remove the trojan? How do I remove the cause of the trojan?

I did a google search of that name, and was informed that it was a trojan virus. Can it be removed without having to reinstall a new O/S?
Thanks everyone!
I’d rather fix this myself than pay some geek to do it for me.
