I’d like to know how to connect my old Apple laptop to my new one for file transfer by using it as an external drive. Eventually I’ll remove the hard drive from the old machine and put in its own housing purely for storage use.

Can you link two wireless-enabled laptops together in a network so data can be swapped between the two, for example, filesharing and games?

so yes I had decided recently to obtain my own Internet connector device, while there is already a modem. However I’ve been desperately trying to get two laptops of mine to connect to the internet while I’m using the internet connector device in one of them, I’ve reeked almost every where but no progress
thanks for reading.

me and my friend both have dongles for our laptops and we both use it connect our phones and headphones and other things, but we tried connecting our laptops together (adding device), but it would always come up as an error.
is it possible to do that, or does it not work with dongles?

I have two laptops, one works perfectly, and one has graphic card issues. A refurbished card is around $770.00. I want to buy a new laptop to replace the old one but salvage the files etc., from the… well you get the drift. Can this be done with only a little computer knowledge? Do I run any risk to the main laptop in doing this?

they both got intel proset/wireless installed. i tryed to use windows wireless zero configuration, but non them detects the other one. there is also an X on the wireless network connection icon in taskbar and it says NOT CONNECTED in both laptops.
