My father figure wants to purchase a new computer for himself and hardly knows anything about computers. Since he is fairly new and said so himself that he isn’t interested in doing any complicated tasks (just general things like surfing the net, shopping online, youtube, etc.) what kind of company makes a better laptop for newbies? Intel, or compaq?

Gateway® NV5810u or Gateway® NV5606u. The NV5810 has 2 years warranty and uses an Intel Chip. The NV5606u only has 1 year warranty and uses AMD. Warranty does not really matter to me. Can someone please explain the advantages/disadvantages between the AMD and Intel chips used in these two laptops?

This is a survey about how you think about environmental issues in terms of pruchasing laptops. Please go to the following address to complete the questions. It is very short and simple, it will just take 3 minutes to complete.

I am looking for a cheap laptop that runs WoW. My budget is 400-500 dollars. I will mainly play WoW and maybe games like Garry’s mod, and CCS.
