Nanaimo RCMP got their man this week with some help from a local business owner and an elderly robbery victim. Police say the thief snuck into a woman’s house while she was gardening and took off with two laptops. I have 2 old laptops. One which is a Dell and another which is a Toshiba. Both of them are at least 3 years old. I live in the UK and I don’t know what it do! Can I sell them to some where like PC World or Curry’s? My friends don’t want them? Help! There a bit worn and tired but there still in good working order.

I have a Dell Inspriron and a Dell Latitude Laptop. Before I take them in I want to insure that I have wiped both hard drives clean, how do I do that? Besides deleting everything?
I’m planning on buying a new laptop in a few months and as far as online stores go I can only think of walmart, sony, and hp. What are some other places?
Note: Don’t mention alienware because they are way overpriced. It is way cheaper to go to newegg or tigerdirect and buy the parts separately and put them together or have someone else put them together for you.
Do you have any friends that are computer geeks? If so, take them with you to the pawn shop, have them inspect and pick out the best one, and you can get a very cheap, new computer.

If you are not a gamer, or you don’t want performance laptop, you can stick to dell, hp, etc. They, also, have high performance laptops. However, they’ll cost you much more.
