I am going to go off to college next fall term and I am looking for a good laptop. I am looking for one that would be excellent for school work and powerful enough to play high end, new gaming. I am just looking for a good laptop company or just a model.

I have been hearing that students in high school that come from a low income family can get a free laptop from school from the government is this true? if so where do i go? because i am currently going to do an online school and they don’t supply laptops. By the way i live in Washington state.

Well, for getting Honor Roll in my school, my dad promised me to buy me a laptop, also since im going to high school, and the one i already have is 5 years old now. And just wondering if laptops are any cheaper during the ‘BACK TO SCHOOL’ events.
I don’t of course expect Apple to lower the price to their mac book, but i kinda have a feeling about dell or HP, or maybe sony vaio Hopely.
Also any suggestions on laptops with webcam that a high schools would use?

I would like to be able to communicate between 4 or 5 laptops at a school theater event so that the backstage crews don’t have to use radios.

Is it true that as a student in a public school can bring laptops to class and can be on them during class?
I go to public school in Connecticut and just heard that you can actually bring a laptop to class and do work on it during class and theres nothing they can do about it. Is this true?

I am a student at Twin Lakes Middle in Duval County in Jacksonville, Florida. I have technology as an elective and the only video and audio editing software we have are old Windows computers. So, I wanted to know if anyone would want to donate Apple Laptops to our school? Or how to get Apple to donate to my school.

I found some laptops on sale that were a reasonably good price, but would they be even cheaper during the back to school sales?
