Im using malwarebytes. i used quick scan to detect and remove it several times but after restarting it comes back again. I even turned off system restore and did the quick scan in safe mode and removed it but still after restarting it was there. How can I completely remove this virus?

I have tried many anti virus programs they remove virus infection but .exe files are infected again! this virus also disables real time scanning. also it disables the computer to run in safe mode. help!!!!!

This is the message that i get "Norton Antivirus has detected & removed a virus from your computer."

It gives me the object name, virus name: Downloader, & action taken: The file was automatically deleted.

When I click OK on the dialog box another virus alert dialog box comes up with the same message, but with a different object name.

I have updated my virus definitions & restarted my computer in safe mode having disabled system restore. While in safemode I have ran a full system scan. The "downloader" virus showed up and I deleted it. And when i returned to normal mode, the message that I’m talking about pops up everytime.

Any suggestions on what to do?

i use McAfee and when i finish scaning it, i try to remove the virus but it says the virus cannot be fully removed. What do i do because i can only start my computer in safe mode

what are the Antivirus that work in safe mode? what r the steps to remove infected viruses?

Bitdefender says my computer is infected with virtool 1584. I can’t find any info on the virus and bitdefender can’t remove it, even with system restore off. Please help!
Spybot and adaware don’t find it. Housecall doesn’t find it either. I have AVG and it doesn’t find it. The only program that has found it so far is bitdefender.

I can’t remove the security tool virus by downloading anything (I searched many sites on how to remove this virus.) I can’t do a system restore, can’t even right click on it like some sites say to do. I can’t go into safe mode either. Nothing is working. I don’t want to lose my files. Can someone please help me!

I have the "Packed.Generic.214" virus on my PC. Norton recognizes it’s there, but cannot fix, quarantine, or delete it. TrendMicro Housecall did not detect it at all. My PC will not start in safe mode to do a virus scan.

Any suggestions on a program to use or method of removing my virus short of a system restore?
Good idea, but the virus has slowed my system so badly I’m having trouble running Hijack This.

I can’t remove this virus. I can’t log on the internet in safe mode.

Is there a program I can put on a san disk, install it and run it, delete the virus and all without needing a connection to the internet?

How do I remove the virus Systems Security? It popped up on our main computer when I turned it on. None of the removal guides I have seen online or on YouTube have worked since I can’t open any programs including system restore and the control panel. Other tips were to open it in ‘safe mode’ by pressing F8, but that also did not work. Any advice would be much appreciated!
