my wireless laptop and router work fine,how do i connect to other laptops?

I am never more than 10-20m away from the router and we have normal brick build construction, one hands free phone handset and a few mobiles. Both laptops have always had excellent signal strength but now the SOny Vaio has suddenly dropped the connection unless I sit alongside the router. What can I do to remedy this?

I need a wireless router that I can attach to my DSL Cable-Modem so I can get internet on my PC computer as well as 2 laptops. What is the best way I go about doing this cause I’m completely lost. If I get a wireless router and connect my cable modem to it, will i still get internet on my PC computer?

Two laptops, cable internet, both running XP with wireless cards. The modem is connected to the first laptop. Does there have to be a router or will the wireless card itself broadcast after setting up a computer network?

I have a laptop with a verizon wireless card, a D-link wireless router, and multiple wireless laptops. What I would like to do is use my verizon card and laptop as the gateway to the internet and have other laptops or Sony PSP connect to the internet through that shared connection. I can either cable directly to the Dlink router or run it wirelessly. I believe its possible but I’m unsure how to do it.

how do i set up 2 or 3 laptops with wireless connection without using any external hardware and such? we only wanted to play lan games like CounterStrike.

I want to buy a wireless router so that I can connect the family’s laptops and consoles to the internet. The desktop which we have does not have wireless capabilities. I know that I can buy an adapter but I was wondering if it is possible to use the wireless router to connect everything and still connect the desktop via the ethernet cable?

I have DSL internet that requires a modem. I have two laptops and a Wii that all have wireless capabilites. I just don’t want to have wires all over my house to connect all of my stuff. Also, any recommendations on what routers works best? Thanks.

I have Belkin 802.11 b/g wireless router and I have 4 laptops in my room. The problem is I’m unable to connect to more than 3 laptops. I can connect to any of the 3 laptops but not more. What I have to do in order to connect all the laptops. What is Channel in a router. It shows 11. What that exactly mean.
