I am selling my drum set that i didn’t really use. ( I just never really got interested) on craigslist, and i was wondering if there was anyplace i could get a good laptop for cheap.
It needs to be wireless, 15.4″ screen and with a good graphics card.
I have a budget of about $300-400 and want a computer that will be decent for me to carry around, I am a high school student going to college a year early, so I need it for research, school work, etc. Any tips or places to get a good quality one? Thanks!

I saw many brands.. LG is having same configuration of an Dell model but there is a big rate difference… does any1 uses the LG laptops .. plzz suggest me how is the quality.

It is possible but you should only use it to play mini games (Cake mania, Bejeweled, etc) and some old 3d games (Quake III, Tomb Raider, The Sims 1, etc). There are however laptops capable for playing modern 3d games, but they will be very expensive since mainstream laptops are not optimized or designed for gaming purpose. The best way is to stick to desktop PC if you want to play modern games.
I really do not have a big amount of money, since I am still studying here in the Philippines. I really need one badly for my studies. Can you give me ways to have that best quality laptops of HP, Lenovo, IBM or Apple for free? Thanks. =)

I own a Gateway, have had some problems with it not connecting via Linux. It was suggested to me that Gateway computers use lower quality components and their drivers might be the issue. Being that it’s about time for a new laptop, I’d like to buy a better one this time. So which are the better laptops with which I’m unlikely to run into this sort of issue?
