I have comcast all in one, internet, phone and cable tv
I have a desktop but want to get rid of it and just have the laptops. I have the modem and router now.

Some sort of hijack/trojan/worm (or what have you) that I haven’t been able to identify is blocking both a pc and work laptop from accessing the internet properly. I’ve already tried the modem with another laptop and works fine. Are there any suggestions to get rid this virus? I’ve tried using SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes Anti-Spyware, AVAST and CCEraser already.

Do satellites mean that they are directly linked to a satellite or the company has a satellite? Do satellite laptop require a modem to access the internet? Are satellite laptops better or equal to regular laptops?

I just bought a second laptop and i am having trouble getting it connected to the internet.
I am using a bigpond wireless broadband modem and I have connected the two laptops with a cat5 cable, but i can’t get internet connection on the second laptop will it work with a wireless broadband modem or do i need to get a landline broadband?

I have a sprint mobile usb modem and was wondering if i could connect it to two different laptops. One is a Dell laptop and one is a Sony laptop but would it really matter? Or does it only work with one kind laptop?

You know, those USB wireless modem things you buy that give you pre-paid internet and you use them for laptops when you dont have a router in the area.
how quick can they send internet data?
do you recharge (like in a mobile pre-paid would) the USB modem once you’ve used up all your internet quota?

I have a desktop PC and 2 laptops with a 2wire wireless modem. How do i set the network up so that the laptops can access music/movie/data files that are on the desktop? The desktop is directly connected to the 2wire modem and the laptops are wireless.

i have a verizon wireless DSL modem
and the LAN thingy is plugged to the computer and all
and there is an anntena kind of thing sticking out from the modem
so is there any way to create an internet connection so laptops around here can use the internet?
