I originally wanted the macbook but i really don’t have the money or the time to get the money, and there are laptops a third the price
Any recommendations on a cheaper laptop (but i am slightly nervous that something cheap may also be kind of cruddy)

Hi new to all this, I`m looking to buy 3 laptops for my kid`s for xmas, I`ve found a few at £300 on tesco direct and in comet,
Just wondered if anyone knew of anyways to save a decent amount of cash at either of these places,
Someone said Comet can actually offer money off if your spending a decent amount if your cheeky enough to ask and to haggle, has anyone done this and how much did you save?
Or is there anywhere that will knock cash off when spending your hard earned, as with other bits and bobs i`ll be spending over £1000, Or has anyone found any that are cheaper than these.
Not that I want everything for nothing but my kid`s are only 8, 8 and 9 and there very much a beginners computer so the least I can spend the better not even to fussy on spec.

We have several missionaries in Eastern Europe who need 3 internet compatible computer desktops or laptops, old or new, as long as it is in working condition. Could anyone let me know where I can find computers to give? Or if any of you have computers that you don’t use, would you please donate? You can file it in your taxes for tax-exemption.
