My laptop has an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. I looked it up online to see what it was and it seems that something can be plugged into it to make it better or something? I always heard that you’re stuck with what you originally bought when it comes to laptops. If that is upgradable, does this mean I can upgrade other things too? Sorry for lack of details but I couldn’t exactly understand what the site was talking about.
What laptops can i put it in?
Which chipset is the best and most recent one for laptops?
Which graphics card is the best and most recent one for laptops?
Who do you think makes the best laptops and why? Give details please.

I need a laptop pc for college that has openGL support and at least 2GB of memory. My school offers the Lenovo Thinkpad T61U, but i would rather get an HP because I hate the Thinkpads.
What are some good laptops that have openGL and at least 2GB of memory under $1,500. Thanks for your help.
there is the HP DV5T with the P7350 upgrade and 9600m gt upgrade brings it to about $850 bucks US (including tax) with a coupon code. i was wondering whether there were any other laptops that featured better cards for the same price?
i would prefer a laptop with a better graphics cards without a T5750 or T5800, but if it comes with like a 8800gt, who cares
