Keep in mind that a lot of the cheap laptops with good specs are refurbished (ie used and restored), which are said to not be as good for battery life. I’ve heard that Tiger Direct refurb laptops are good, though.

Oh yeah, last Thanksgiving they were giving laptops for less than $400, I guess you missed the bus! But, you can try looking at deals2buy.com or eDealinfo.com for deals on cheap laptops. If you want it from best Buy only, you can keep checking their website from time to time for any weekend sales.

ok i plan on getting a laptop soon basically its not going to be a gaming laptop but it will be a laptop that still has….the requirements for playing online games….ok anyway the question i may ask may be a dumb question…..seeing as i dont really know that much about laptops but…..
when u play online games on a laptop does it only overheat when you are playing hardcore type PC games or when you play mmorpgs or is it just both?

Mostly refurbished, but none the worse for that
I bought one for my daughter last Christmas (2008) great little laptop for just over £250
I got mine directly from the Manchester shop, but they have branches in Birmingham and London too. Or did anyway. I just noticed on their site that some firm has taken over their ecommerce section, so I’m not sure if the retail outlets still exist
