I’m looking to buy my own computer.
I’m looking for something on the cheaper side with good quality.
I would be using it quite a bit for gaming so it would need a good graphics card and all that other stuff.
But i don’t know if i should get a laptop or a desktop.
I really don’t know the difference or what’s better.
Do desktops have more memory or is it pretty much the same?

I know this may sound like a very simple question but what exactly is the difference between a netbook, a notebook and a laptop? I want a computer that my daughter can use to go on the internet, play DVDs and games – and do school work! It has to be portable as she will be using it in different rooms in the house – so, back to my original question – what is the difference between a netbook, a laptop and a notebook – apart from price!

I am looking on ebay to buy a laptop (new). What is the difference between a normal laptop and a tablet laptop? Which is better?

I have been hunting down laptops for awhile and have narrowed it down to either a Vaio and Dell. The internals are pretty much the same just that I wanted to know if anyone has every used
T5800 series and then used the T8100 series and noticed if there is a drastic change in speed (Bear in mind ram stays constant)

My laptop charger was frayed and stopped working. It had an 18.5 voltage output. We have 2 others in the house for other laptops, but they have a 19 voltage output. Is it safe to use or should I go out and look for another 18.5?
