I’d like to know how to connect my old Apple laptop to my new one for file transfer by using it as an external drive. Eventually I’ll remove the hard drive from the old machine and put in its own housing purely for storage use.
It doesn’t work either with internet cable hooked up or wireless. Just cannot connect to internet even though there is good receptions and other laptops in the house have no problem connecting. Please help.

Most new laptops don’t have a s-video out anymore but I want hook up my parents TV to their laptop. I know there are adapters but to my understanding the video card has to support it or else theres no signal anyway? How will I know if the video card supports it by looking at the specs before my purchase?

We have a netgear wireless router everyones laptop connects to it fine but when my sister comes back from unniversity and uses the router everybody elses laptop doesnt connect to the internet even though the laptops have a excellent connection i think it is a IP conflict but what does it mean ? and what can i do to resolve the matter ?
