Check the want ads in the newspaper. Also check e-bay. But be careful. Older computers are not certain to work, or to have the ability to run the newest programs out there.

I’m off to college, but I need a new computer. I have a really tight budget ($600) and am looking for an affordable laptop that can play media as well as help me out with my college life. I don’t really care if it’s mac, windows, etc. I just need durability, usability, and versatility under $600. Can anyone help me?

I’d rather not have one of those tiny little laptops that a lot of people use in college but just a normal-small sized one with a decent amount of space on it.

Are laptops allowed to use in every college course and are you allowed to plug them into a power outlet when the battery runs out? Because I’m a senior in high school and I’m purchasing a laptop in a few weeks. The battery life is a little over two hours. Please help.
