I’ve been working with desktops all my life, but never really got into laptops.
I found one that has 512mb discrete vram but would like to upgrade it eventually
to maybe 1gb if not more. Is this possible in laptops? Does it vary between cards
and individual systems?

I have a wireless g router now and it works fine, but I would like to increase the workable distance. Will just upgrading the wireless router help if I don’t also upgrade the cards in the laptops?

I need a laptop pc for college that has openGL support and at least 2GB of memory. My school offers the Lenovo Thinkpad T61U, but i would rather get an HP because I hate the Thinkpads.
What are some good laptops that have openGL and at least 2GB of memory under $1,500. Thanks for your help.
