The virus is appearing as a fraud anti-virus program that keeps warning me for virus and occasionally minimizes my windows in order to try to convince me that it’s necessary that I ”upgrade” the ”anti-virus program”. I’ve been trying to remove the virus with AVG, but it only says that it’s unable to perform the action.

I have subscribed to Orange, France but I am using Firefox often. From yesterday onwards whenever I open the orange browser a window shows an alert that a wanadoo (old name of Orange-internet) file is infected by Win32/PE Patch. AVG seems not removing this. I get this information again and again whenever I open the Orange browser. How can I remove this?

If you own a Dell Pc, you can ring your local support line, and they can hack into your pc ad attempt to fix it themselves. If you are 100% stuck for ideas, you can do a ‘system restore’, to a point where you knew you didn’t have the virus. Note, all files you saved between now and when you system restore to, will be erased with the virus. Googling all the processes does not work. Services.exe is the name of the virus for some people, but the internet says it’s something else unless you include words like ‘virus’ and ‘msn’. Go into startup and end everything you are definately positively sure do not have to be there. So end itunes, msn, everything. Ultimately the virus can be a random combination of letters and numbers, but some names occur quite often. I tried downloading avg and it found the virus.
The problem is, I left it scanning just in case there were more files and then my computer restarted for those automatic updates. Then when i tried scanning again, the trojan wasnt found. If the virus can hide like that, how can i remove it without using a long manual way, or paying for removal?

I have Trend Micro PC Cillin which says I have no adware or viruses. I suspected that wasnt working right because my computer is acting weird and so I downloaded the trial version of AVG and ran a scan. Sure enough, It found 2 viruses and lots of adware/spyware. However, I couldnt find where I had the option to remove them? Any suggestions?

hello, my friends are telling me that they receive virus links from messenger when i’m offline, but when i run my anti virus it doesn’t indicate any threat why? Can anyone help me please? my computer is working more slowly also. And whenever i use internet, i get some links or web page opening on it’s own.
I have also recently downloaded the new AVG 8.5, new version of internet explorer. but i accidently open some links, what can i do?
