I have an anti-virus program from Computer Associates that I am having a problem removing. I can not find it in the add/remove feature, I have also tried system restore to no avail. I keep getting this box that pops up asking if I would like to renew, which I find annoying. Any suggestions?

Also, how does one remove all that crap that gets downloaded along with the so-called "freebies"?

I have got a virus in my usb which changes all the folders to .exe and sometimes the folders are hidden. I have used many all of the best anti virus available but to no avail and have also soft wares like Trojan Remover, True Sword etc but these also did not help. I cant format the usb as it has very important data so does anyone out there know how I can remove this virus?
