hi im looking for a cheap laptop under 500 bucks which will not go over 500 when tax is added. does anyone know what the best and efficient website i can go to. that has realy great laptops under 500? i have 466.32 dollars in my credit card i need something that will be affordable for that much. thanks im really need a laptop for music, word, internet, movies games etc.

there is much cheaper small laptop called Asus. It cost about 100 to 250 dollars! Save Money
Go check out a Compaq or HP.
I got my c502us Compaq for under $500.
try fry’s electronics or a pawn shop
Sorry to tell you this but you CANNOT get all that in a laptop for $500. You are looking at $750 to $1000 fo a decent laptop.

I actually bought computer to sell and made a good profit out of it. THis computer for the price is a steal. Very good pc, i recommend it.

I got a really cool HP from walmart, really nice and works great, but it was $598 plus tax. Sorry, you’re not going to find anything that good under $500 unless it’s used. I think walmart might have an Acer for like $487 or somewhere around there.
