How to remove virus from laptop?

I have no antivirus programs right now, no recovery disks, and no internet access because it says its harmful. i can go to to safe mode though.. i have windows xp plz help!

boot to safe mode with internet and download malwarebytes antimalware. make sure you download it from cnet though. run a full scan and get rid of anything it finds.
recovery disks are important you should make them as soon as you get a computer. and nortan 360 is my personal favorite antivirus.how long ago did you buy it? if you dont have anything then all you can do is get a new one
JUST RESTORE YOUR SYSTEM THROUGH SYSTEM RESTORE ,YOUR PROBLEM FIXED.
Download Malwarebytes and Combofix from a clean computer. Boot into safe mode no networking. Install and run each from there.
