How to remove the virus?

I have got a virus in my usb which changes all the folders to .exe and sometimes the folders are hidden. I have used many all of the best anti virus available but to no avail and have also soft wares like Trojan Remover, True Sword etc but these also did not help. I cant format the usb as it has very important data so does anyone out there know how I can remove this virus?

Look….first copy all the data from the USB drive to another media (hard drive, CD, DVD, etc) and then reformat the USB Drive….and then copy the data back….
My friend had a very similar problem with his USB drive.

I did a search and found this site (link below) for removing that cirus.

go to the microsoft download center and load their free "malicious software removal tool" for free..this will not only check your hardware but also remove any viruses you have present on your computer…I use it once a week whether i need it or not just to be safe…
