I have McAfee Internet Security 2009 and it says it quarantined a virus named Artemis!786998 and Artemis!749387. I was wondering how could I could remove these from my computer. Also if it’s quarantined can it do anything to my computer. PS it says it’s a Trojan (not Trojan Horse).
Thanks. I’ll give 10 pts. for best answer

When VirusScan quarantines infected files, it encrypts and then moves them to a folder to prevent the files from harming your computer. You can then restore or remove the quarantined files.
1. Open the Quarantined Files pane.
1. On the left pane, click Advanced Menu.
2. Click Restore.
3. Click Files.
2. Select a quarantined file.
3. To remove the infected file from your computer, click Remove.
4. Click Yes to confirm your selected option.
I believe if it’s quarantined, it can’t do anything to your computer and has been removed. You’re safe.
If it is quarantined , then it wont make any harm to your PC. If you want to delete the virus, then go to the quarantine of the anti virus and delete it.
You should leave in quarantine. It won’t affect your computer. Trojan and trojan horse is the same thing. If you really want to delete it, go to the quarantine archives. there should be an option to delete it.
The files were put on quarantine because your AV program does not currently have a fix for them. No need to worry about them doing any further harm to your computer because they are practically hog-tied and put in "jail". They are just taking up space in your hard disk. Don’t take them out of quarantine nor restore them. Delete them permanently since the files have no value to you.
PS: Trojan is just the short term for Trojan Horse. They actually have the same meaning.
