How do I remove a Trojan virus from my computer?

I have a trojan virus ony computer, and I keep having to use AVG virus scanner tofins it. Once I find it, I go to the file and delete it. It keeps attacking iTunes, so when I deleted the files, I reinstalled iTunes, and I got warnings that said the virus was Back! This means whatever is attacking my computer is still on here. What should I do? How do I remove the trojan? How do I remove the cause of the trojan?

Do you have any internet security, just run a standard scan and it should find and delete it for you. I use McAfee which i believe is great.
well i used "ESET NOD32 antivirus"
but how long have you had the trojan?
if you had the trojan for a bit now then the best thing to do is reboot the computer..
cause i had the trojan for a week then i used ESET antivirus, and it got rid of the trojan but then there was this other trojan that locked itself to the computer so i could’t get rid of it. so i had to reboot my computer
If you’ve been "battling it" for a week or so – hate to say it, but I’d take it to a local PC fix-it type of store. I had a worm years ago, that I couldn’t get rid of. Well – even the PC-guys couldn’t get rid of it! They ended up copying my files to a separate hard-drive, and had to completely re-image my PC… Good luck!
if some page keeps popping up while your doing stuff, then don’t press anything, just try to close the page! because someone is trying to hack you computer, it happened like a week ago to me, but my mom disconnected me from the internet to close it. *Best Wishes*
omg dam im in the exact sam situation as you i used avg and i dnt think it helps ; i have 19 virus! and it wont let me open itunes .
1. If you do not have any anti-virus software, download it. I suggest using AVG, they have a free version and it works very good, along with you being watchful and careful. You will also need to download SmitFraudFix. This can be easily found by doing a Yahoo or Google search for it. Make sure you see a little yellow icon on your desktop before continuing. No need to click on it yet, just make sure it’s there. You will also need to disable System Restore before starting. You can do this by going to Start > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Click on this. Click on System Restore Settings and under the system restore tab, there is a box to disable system restore. Hit apply and then yes.
2. Now you will need to restart your computer in Safe Mode. To do this, you will restart your computer. Upon restart, hit the F8 button until the menu pops up allowing you to choose safe mode. Just choose the one that says Safe Mode only. Now, click on the SmitFraudFix icon. A command menu will come up. Hit any button. When you see the numbered screen, just hit 2 and then enter. Let it run, it should not take too long. When it is done it will ask you if you want to clean the registry. Hit Y and then enter. Now, while still in safe mode, run a scan with your anti-virus software. It should find nothing.
3. Now you can restart your computer in regular mode and enable system restore. Now your virus is gone. I highly suggest your next step to be to download MalWareBytes and run it. It finds many leftovers that the anti-virus software do not detect. After this, you will be good to go!
You should try using MSCONFIG in Windows XP to disable some of the unnecessary programs that automatically load on start-up. Disabling these programs will help your computer boot faster and crash less.
1. In Windows XP, go to Start > Run
2. Type MSCONFIG in the "Open:" box and then either press enter on your keyboard or click on the OK button.
3. This launches Microsoft’s System Configuration Utility. Click on the Startup tab (the tab at the far right).
4. This takes you to a page with a list of "startup items." Startup items are programs that are automatically loaded every time you turn on your computer. Some startup programs are absolutely necessary, others are simply a waste of RAM.
Remember, disable only those programs that you recognize and don’t need to have running all the time. When in doubt, leave it on.
5. Click on the OK button.
6. A message will pop up telling you that you must restart your computer before these changes will take effect. Click on "Yes" and your computer will automatically reboot.
7. That’s it! Your computer should now boot faster and crash less.

All you do is turn off "resident shield" on your AVG program and then install itunes. Open AVG and then go back to the resident shield page. Click on the manage exceptions button and add the itunes folder. Turn resident shield back on then, turn your computer off then turn it back on, and you’re good to go.

•Open the AVG user interface (i.e. double-click on the icon in your system tray).
•Click on the ‘Tools’ menu, then click on ‘Advanced settings’.
•Click on the ‘Manage’ tab at the bottom of the list, then click ‘Revert virus database to previous version’. This should solve the issue and allow you to open iTunes.
•If you have moved the ‘infected’ files to the virus vault, you will need to restore them before iTunes will run. If you have deleted them from the vault, you will need to reinstall iTunes.
Turns out AVG’s newest update is causing some issues with iTunes. As users on Apple’s support forum have deduced, the threat that AVG is detecting in a number of iTunes’ files is almost certainly a false positive. The specific files that AVG is indicating are infected for me are:
•iTunesLocalized.dll
•iTunes.dll
•iTunesRegistry.dll
Several posters have indicated that AVG detects over 200 infected files upon trying to reinstall iTunes with the latest version.
One user has suggested adding certain directories to AVG’s exception list to prevent it detecting the false positives and disabling iTunes, but I would suggest not doing this unless you plan to undo it when AVG release a new update that fixes this problem, as otherwise it could leave iTunes open to attack by a legitimate virus.
Another user has indicated that after contacting AVG Technical Support, they are aware of the issue and intend to fix it in the next definitions update. With this in mind, probably the path of least resistance is to refrain from using iTunes until the next AVG update is released. With such a large number of people affected, I can’t imagine it will be long in coming.
p.s. While some users are suggesting simply uninstalling AVG as a hassle-free solution, this could lead to greater problems as real trojans will find it exponentially easier to make their way onto your computer.
First disconnect the connection of your PC. Then do the traditional uninstall and get the spyware or unwanted off your PC. Sometimes, some spyware or virus can not be off easily. You can try a anti-spyware tool to help you out.

it wnt clean d virus but it will atleast tell u wat virus is der on ur pc
otherwise try Avira antivirus its free
I would try using Comodo,or kapersky,Comodo is good for reasons I am not well known with the computer.
Kapersky can.
1.Detect it
2.Stop it from growing larger
3.Kill it
And make sure it never comes back.
If all else fails,buy spy hunter,it is your last resort.
