U can try this anti crash program called Anti crash assistant.
U can create ur snapshots according to ur needs.
For example, u install aca and create ur snapshot today.
After two days, ur pc got infected by a virus n ur antivirus cant remove it. U can use aca to restore ur pc to the snapshot u created two days ago. It’s much more convenient than ghost. Everytime, u create an image of ur OS, the image will take up lots of space, but aca can save lots of space. Even u got blue screen, corrupted registry, driver missing, slow pc performance, system crash, u can easily restore ur pc and data up-to-minute within 5 seconds!
I assume you want to do a full format of C drive. If you do that the only way you reinstall your software is with the original disks or installation packages for programs you don’t have a disk for. When you reformat all registry entries and .DLL files are reset to the factory settings.Because these files are gone no programs will fucntion and unless you know all the dll’s asociated with all the programs it would be impossible to manually re-register these files. You just have to start over from the beginning and reinstall the software however you did originally. Sorry. I been through it many times.
safe your essential files on the other harddisks – D and E.
-or USB
Open your Computer Casing and unplug harddisk D and E
Then input the bootable CD
Note: simply getting rid of the virus, may also be an option.
