how would you do this to a file that is write protected on my phone? I have tried the same process over and over, and it says that it could not find path indicated.
Dude i hav attempted to remove a form of avast antivirus software off of my computer for months now, it says it cant be removed i mena iv tried everything, new removal programs, windows removals, this i mean the thing dosnt hav a file its just there and when i start the computer it comes up with my avast subscription is about to run out in 1 day. Its been saying 1 day for months and theres no file there anymore, i need help man.
@crazymatt898 I ran into that before, since they came out with the new version 5.0 the old one locks up on the updates, try installing the new version and it should fix it.

No it says it cannot install the new version untill the old 1 is removed, and the setup will not remove it, it says go to aswclear.exe on the frontpage but i dont see it anywhere man

can your delete .dll files? b/c i have a file on my computer that when i try to replace it, it says “you must have permission to do that”… im confused

The command prompt is something like a forcer. no matter what is the file if you delete it thrue the cmd it has no escape. The command prompt is a very powerful tool…
I use malwarebytes secret delete that automatically kills the folder.
what if it says could not find the file? i typed the name of the file correctly, the file has spacing in its name so i added ” at the beginning of the file name in cmd, but same as with explorer cmd cant find it…
@WkDLk The file may have been deleted by your anti virus already. turn off system restore to clear out the cache of deleted files. then after you restart you can turn it back on.
